victory against Essa 2
The stars came out ready to play against the 3rd place Essa team on January 8th. Jacob opened up the scoring with a nice shot the bounced off the boards and into the net! The first period was tight as we had a 2-1 lead, but we kept pressing and came out victorious with a 7-2 win. Once again, it was so impressive watching the kids looking for passes and making many great connections with each other and the defense played outstanding. Everyone was skating hard back to protect their goalie, and the lead. Overall an outstanding team effort by all. Jacob had 2 goals, Mateo had 2 goals and an assist, Ben, Andrew and Logan had 1 goal each. Luke had 3 assists, Devon, Joey, Lukas, Jack and Johnny all come out with an assist as well. Way to go Stars, keep up the amazing team work!
