The Stars Team 2 headed to Penetang in hopes to win there first regular season win against the Flames. Jan 11/15
Penetang came out flying and put the first goal on the board early in the first period but that was all the Flames could get past the unflappable Jonathan Turner in goal. It was a great showing from the defence which comprised of Landon Lacombe, Maddox Day and Carson Roberts. They did a great job keeping and getting the puck out of the stars end. Lexus McEwen was playing her first game of the season at center ice and did a fantastic job slowing down the Flames offence. She even added an assist in the third period. By the mid way through the second period Emersyn Diver had potted 4 goals and was all over the ice with his hard play. By the end of the game Mateo Saucdo-Willems added a goal as well and Emersyn Diver had finished with a total of 8 goals. Overall it was a great team effort and the kids came away with there first regular season win. WoooHooo
