Second Trip To Penetang
It was our second straight weekend playing against the Penetang Flames in there home arena......
Our second game in Penetang stared off the same way as the first game did with the Flames jumping out in front with an early goal. By the end of the first Penetang had a 3-1 lead and would have more if it wasn't for the stellar play of Jonathan Turner. Emersyn Diver had the lone goal in the first with Grayson Gellow and James Harman adding the assists. The second period was a back and forth game with both teams getting some great chances. By the end of the period the Flames held a one goal lead (4-3) Once again it was the sharp shooting Emersyn Diver scoring for the stars with Bella Blackstock adding two assists and Maddox Day adding a helper as well. The stars knew it was a tough battle and they needed to leave everything on the ice in the third. Once again it was back and forth. Mid way through the period it was once again the hard play of the stars leading scorer Emersyn Diver to tie the game up. It came down to the wire and both teams played hard for the end result....a hard fought TIE!!! Great game stars.
