Stars Were Shining On Saturday vs Wildcats
Wasaga Stars Tyke 3 played the Coldwater Wildcats 2 on home ice Saturday afternoon.

The Stars were shining in the middle of a cold afternoon when the Wildcats came to town.   The crowd was treated to an offensive display by Cruz Doner and Avery McNamara each scoring a quintuple.  Their speed and puck control could not be matched on this day.   Every member of the team chalked up a helper leaving no player without a point for the game.   Cohen Rutte got his first point of the season and put in his best effort of the year earning him the hard hat for the game.

Serenity Ferrari played fantastic in goal and with the help of her defence Emma Pomeroy,  Andrew Dore, Landon Tardiff and Jessica Durance they kept the Wildcats to only 1 goal as they moved the puck out of their zone and cleared any rebounds.

The one two knock out punches delivered by Cruz D. and Avery M. could not be done without the relentless jabs provided by the wingers Christian Markic and Miller Black.  Their forechecking and backchecking gave just enough space for the dynamic duo to put the Wildcats to rest.

The coaching staff is very proud of the effort the team has puts on the ice week after week.  Their hard work continues to pay off as they use what they learn in practice.

The Stars are looking forward to their first tournament of the year this weekend in Hanover.  For many of the players it's their first tournament ever!   Go Stars !
