Stars Take Home Silver !
Wasaga Stars Tyke 3 wins second place at the Wasaga Beach Tyke tournament hosted by WBMHA.
Wasaga Stars Arena was buzzing over the weekend with Tyke teams from all over the region participating in this years tournament.
The Stars played 3 games which included the final gold medal match. They won their first game versus the Barrie Minions and second game versus their home team rivals Tyke 1 earning them a birth in the finals against the dreaded Elmvale Coyotes.
The Stars had a short bench throughout the tournament and played with a lot of heart, never giving up and always trying their best. The gold medal match didn't disappoint as the action was fast and furious at both ends of the ice. The Coyotes managed to win the game but that didn't faze the Stars one bit as they all had a great weekend and had a lot of fun.
Avery McNamara was awarded MVP for the game by the Coyotes coaching staff and Cruz Doner's hard work over the entire tournament earned him the beloved yellow bucket as the hardest worker.
