Novice Rep Team is off to a Great Start!
This seasons novice rep team has come together amazingly! They have been practicing hard focusing on skating, passing and puck possession.
First Tournament
At the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame Classic tournament in Parry Sound a few weeks ago the team met some tough competition playing against BB and B centre teams but played strong all 3 games. Even though they only won one of their games, it was the games they lost where they battled the hardest and played their best yet! The team had a lot of fun and really bonded together during this early season tournament weekend.
Start of Regular Season
Our regular season is in full swing and the team has a winning record so far with some tough competition around the corner.
The defensive pairings of Gillian Collie / Marley Wonta, Quentin Rouse / Maddox Day are really coming together, trying to stay in position and battling to control the blue line. They also contribute to our passing plays and goal scoring when the opportunity strikes!
Our goalie Jonathan Turner is playing strong between the pipes, making lots of great saves and keeping our goals against average low.
Our forward lines of Zach Vibert / Avery McNamara / Duncan Collins, Cruz Doner / Josh Underwood / Emersyn Diver are battling hard to control the puck and their efforts are paying off!
Everyone on the team has contributed to our growing number of points. What a team!
The coaching staff and parents are very impressed with everyone working hard to build a strong team, and we look forward to continued success as the season progresses.
