January 30 VS Penetang Flames
The 14 and 4 Penetang Flames came to town to face the Stars in their second matchup this season. There were a few changes to the Stars lineup, as Gabe Ryan strapped on the pads and looked sharp in his season debut between the pipes, and Revan Van Willigen stepped into the winger role with surprising speed.

This rough and penalty-filled game opened with the Stars defending well, applying consistent offensive pressure, and scoring less than three minutes in. Dalton Risk's(1A) first shot was blocked, but linemate Devon Jessup(1G) grabbed the rebound and ripped it home for the 1-0 lead. Wasaga widened their lead midway through the second, when wily center Jacob Curtis(1G) charged the net to score and extend his impressive point streak. Winger Hudson Alward nearly scored with a quick shot on a steal in the offensive end, and defenseman Braedyn Gallant baffled forechecking Flames with some stellar stickhandling moves. Play remained relatively even until The Curse of the Third Period struck again, when the tide seemed to turn in favour of the Flames with four unanswered goals and a 4-2 final score.
