Novice 1 Update
A December to Remember
The 2016 calendar year has been an exciting part our season. We have all watched our kids improve week by week. But most importantly I think it's safe to say that they're having fun !!
The good times in December began with our trip to the Millbrook tournament. We all faced poor driving conditions on the way there and on the way back but it was worth it (well worth it). The kids came out of the gate flying and won their first two games 4-3 and 7-2 showing off the skills that they have been developing all year and securing a place in the finals. We played a really strong game in the finals and lost a hard fought battle 2-1 in a game that could have gone either way.
Then we finished the month with an amazing 5-2 win on the road where our stars were shining bright against the 2nd place Creemore team (an early Christmas present for everyone). What a win !!
On behalf of the coaching staff I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parents for their support. But most importantly thank the kids for the dedication and hard work they have put in all year.
We are looking forward to finishing the season strong in January and can't wait to see what this team has in store.
I hope everyone is enjoying the Holiday Season and want to wish everybody a Happy and Healthy New Year. See you all at the rink in 2017.
