Wasaga Stars VS Essa Eagles#1
The Wasaga Stars were on the road to face the Essa Eagles.
It was a tight checking game with both teams playing strong defense. The eagles opened the scoring with 2 quick goals in the 2nd period. Maddox put 1 on the board for the Stars assisted by Damien to make it a 2-1 game heading into the 3rd period.
The stars goalie Dru, played amazing all game with huge pad saves to keep his team in reach but the Eagles were too much to handle in the 3rd period scoring 2 more goals to down the Stars with a final score of 4-1.
The Stars forward Max, was one of the hardest working Stars and was a force to be reckoned with all game which earned him the Player of the Game award. Max was backchecking, breaking up offensive plays from the Eagles and had some great offensive plays as well.
The Stars are looking to regroup after a couple of losses and get back in the winning column on December 3rd against Essa Eagles #2.
