The Stars hit the road for the first time this season and it took a period for them to find their legs before finishing the game with a strong 2nd and 3rd period.
After giving up the first three goals of the game the Stars came out strong in the second period but gave up another goal to fall behind 4-0. The team responded with an unassisted goal by Joziah Moore and then followed up with a second goal by Jacob Curtis with an assist by Lucas Witriak to cut the deficit in half.
Following the 2nd intermission the game was back and forth and each team netted a goal each with the Stars Jack Babcock scoring his first goal of the season assisted by Devon Jessup.
