Tough loss to Stayner #1
With a short bench, the team played a great game against Stayner. Stayner came out strong in the first period with a 4-2 lead. We cut the lead to 4-3 in the second as Revan made a bunch of great saves to keep us in it. The 3rd period was a nail biter as we were down 2 goals and coach pulled the goalie with just over a minute to play. Luke scored his 5th goal of the game with 29 seconds remaining, but it wasn't' enough as Stayner held on to take the win.
Over all the team played extremely well, with a lot of passing and puck movement. Keep up the great team work Atom #2. We also welcomed Kaleb to our team today, he played a very strong defensive game which earned him player of the game.
