Wasaga Beach Minor Hockey U8 Jamboree Rules
Saturday January 31, 2026.
Each team will play three games. iPads will be utilized. No paper. Scores will not be kept as all the players are winners.
This is an OMHA sanctioned event, permit # 36143. OMHA rules will be applicable. Teams will need a travel permit. Approved team travel permit and roster must be submitted to the Jamboree Director prior to your team participation.
The games will be played on half-ice, with 2 modified ice games running simultaneously. Officials will be assigned for each game. Once Schedule is completed there will be no altering of scheduled games. Actual game times may need to fluctuate to ensure execution of our jamboree.
A 4 oz. blue puck will be used for all games. No penalties or offsides or icing will be called. Face-offs will only happen at the start of the game and start of each period. There will be 2 -22-minute periods.
Lines will consist of 4 vs 4, using a 2-minute buzzer for changing of players.
Games will be played at Wasaga Stars Arena, on the Spectator Rink.
Upon completion of each team’s last game, your team will be presented with trophy as they are all winners.
