A message and update from our coach liaison
Submitted By Jamie Campbell on Tuesday, May 5, 2020
To all of the WBMHA head coaches and their bench staff:

I would like to take a brief moment of your time to extend our thanks and deepest appreciation for your endless volunteer hours that each and every one of you donated during the 2019-20 season. As we all know, our season came to a sudden halt as a result of the tragic COVID-19 pandemic that has terribly stunned our communities. As the coach liaison, and on behalf of the Wasaga Beach Minor Hockey Association Executive, we greatly appreciate all of your efforts.

As the coach liaison, and on behalf of the Wasaga Beach Minor Hockey Association (WBMHA) Executive, we greatly appreciate all of your efforts.

The WBMHA recognizes the great accomplishments that each team had risen to this season. We had several new coaches join our association, along with several returning coaches and bench staff members. You're all outstanding members of our community and association.

A great number of our teams in the Rep division went deep into the International Silver Stick Tournament, OMHA playoffs and had tremendous seasons. Our Local League division teams also placed high as we were entering the Championship finals. These are great achievements that will carry into the 2020-21 season and we will continue to build and get better.

2020-21 coach applications:
Coach applications for the 2020-21 season are now open and can be found on the WBMHA website under the Team Officials tab. I encourage all of you to return to coaching next season!

Team trophies:
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, trophies are not ready at this time. The Executive will contact you when we have more information.

Tryouts for the 2020-21 season:
We are waiting on direction from our governing bodies regarding tryouts for next seasons.

Again, thank you all very much.
