IMPORTANT: if the new proposed By Law is accepted by the membership at the AGM, nominations from the Proposed By Law tab will be accepted in lieu of the positions listed on this Nomination Form. Please Note: To be eligible for a Voting Position on the 2024/2025 Executive you must be a member in good standing at the conclusion of the 23/24 season.

President - 2 Year Term

The President must have been on the Executive for at least 1 year previously in the last 2 years. The President represents the association in the community and leads the WBMHA to achieve its goals. The President chairs all Executive meetings as a non-voting member. Other duties and responsibilities are explained in Section 13.1.1 (a) of the WBMHA's Rules of Operation.

1st Vice-President

The Vice-President is a voting member of the Executive Committee who has 1 year experience on the board within the last 2 years and acts as the Local League Tournament Director and assumes the duties of the President in his/her absence. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in Section 13.1.1 (b) of the WBMHA's Rules of Operation.

Treasurer

The Treasurer must have recognized accounting qualifications and experience. The Treasurer is a voting member of the Executive Committee who is responsible for the accurate accounting and handling of all WBMHA funds. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in Section 13.1.1 (c) of the WBMHA's Rules of Operation.

Secretary

The Secretary is a voting member of the Executive Committee and manages the activities of the Executive Committee in accordance with the association's Rules of Operation and ByLaws. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in Section 13.1.1 (d) of the WBMHA's Rules of Operation.

OMHA Representative

The OMHA Rep is a voting member of the Executive Committee who represents the WBMHA's interests with the OMHA and the Georgian Bay Minor Hockey League (GBMHL). Other specific duties and responsibilities are explained in Section 13.1.1 (f) of the WBMHA's Rules of Operation.

Local League Representative - 2 Year Term

The Local League Rep is a voting member of the Executive Committee responsible for representing the WBMHA's interests with the Georgian Bay Triangle Local League. Specific duties are explained in Section 13.1.1 (g) of the WBMHA's Rules of Operation.

Equipment Manager

The Equipment Manager is a voting member of the Executive Committee who is responsible for procuring and maintaining WBMHA's equipment. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in Section 13.1.1 (h) of the WBMHA's Rules of Operations.

Registrar - 2 Year Term

The Registrar is a voting member of the Executive Committee responsible for registering and receiving payments for all players in the association. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in Section 13.1.1 (i) of the WBMHA's Rules of Operation.

Fundraising and Sponsorship Chairperson

The chairperson of the Fundraising and Sponsorship committee is a voting member of the Executive Committee who is responsible for managing all fundraising activities of the association. Specific responsibilities are explained in Section 13.1.1 (k) of the WBMHA's Rules of Operation.

Kitchen Manager

The Kitchen Manager is a voting member of the Executive Committee responsible for procuring and managing food sold during tournaments and other events. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in Section 13.1.1 (l) of the WBMHA's Rules of Operation. ** if the new By Law is accepted by the membership at the AGM this will become a NON voting position and be renamed Food and Beverage Director.

Parent Representative Liaison

The Parent Rep Liaison is a voting member of the Executive Committee responsible for the management and accounting of bond hours for all parents and teams in the association. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in Section 13.1.1 (m) of the WBMHA's Rules of Operation.

Coach Liaison

The Coach Liaison is a voting member of the Executive Committee responsible for the management of all team officials throughout the association. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in Section 13.1.1 (o) of the WBMHA's Rules of Operation.
