The Wasaga Stars Novice Rep team played Sturgeon Lake on Saturday, March 7, in Bobcaygeon for game four of the semi-finals. The team played an outstanding game and emerged with a 10-4 victory over the Sturgeon Lake Thunder. The team now advances to the OMHA finals where they will face the Centre Hastings Grizzlies. A schedule will be posted soon. Let's show our support Wasaga and fill the stands for these young players.

The Novice Rep team had the opportunity to watch the Barrie Colts warm up before their game. The difference was where they got to watch them from. The kids got the best seats in the house; the Barrie Colts Home Bench! After the game they had the chance to meet the players in the change room and got lots of autographs. A special thank you to the Neil family for selling so many tickets to greatly increase the chances for these boys to get this opportunity. A fun night had by all; as the photos clearly show.

The Wasaga Stars Novice Rep team embarked on the long journey to the North Bay area for the West Nipissing Sting Winter Classic on January 23. They played 5 games, over the three day tournament, and emerged the Champs on January 25!

On Saturday, December 6, 2014 the Wasaga Novice Rep team travelled to Harriston, in the township of Minto, to play in their one day tournament. The team played against Mount Forest and St. George, winning both games, which put them in first place heading to the finals. The team then played Wallace in the finals with a close battle during the first two periods. Wasaga dominated the last period, scoring 7 additional goals to win the game. The team won the Jeff Davies Memorial Minto Tournament.
