Wasaga Stars #1 VS Essa Eagles
Season opener!
There was end to end action in the season and home opener for the Wasaga Stars. Both teams battled hard but the Essa Eagles came out on top with a 4-3 win.
The Stars goalie Dru made some huge pad saves to keep his team in the game especially in the 3rd period.
Hunter scored a beauty, top shelf for his first career goal. He also earned the player of the game award with a great effort all game. Luke and Hudson scored the other 2 goals for the Stars with Nate, Damien, Chyna and Luke picking up assists.
Overall a close action filled game which kept the fans on the edge of there seats all game.
Coaching staff couldn't be more pleased with the efforts of all the Wasaga Star players on there first game.
The season looks bright for these young Stars!
