2026-27 Executive Nomination Form
IMPORTANT: To be eligible for a Voting Position on the 2026/2027 Executive you must be a registered member in good standing at the conclusion of the 25/26 season. Non-voting positions are open to non-members however you must be a registered member in good standing to cast a vote at the AGM. Please review the requirements for all voting positions.

President

The President must have previously sat on the board for a minimum of 2 years. The President represents the association in the community and leads the WBMHA to achieve its goals. The President chairs all Executive meetings as a NON-voting member. Other duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law

Vice-President

The Vice-President is a voting member of the Board of Directors who must have previously sat on the Executive for 2 years. In conjunction with the President, oversee all areas of the Association. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law

Treasurer

The Treasurer must have recognized accounting qualifications and experience. The Treasurer is a voting member of the Executive Committee who is responsible for the accurate accounting and handling of all WBMHA funds. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law

Secretary

The Secretary is a voting member of the Executive Committee and manages the activities of the Executive Committee in accordance with the association's Rules of Operation and ByLaws. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law

Director of Representative

The Director of Representative is a voting member of the Executive Committee who represents the WBMHA's interests with the OMHA and Region 5 Other specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law

Director of Local League

The Director of Local League is a voting member of the Executive Committee responsible for representing the WBMHA's interests with the Georgian Bay Triangle Local League. Specific duties are explained in WBMHA's By Law

Director of Equipment Management

The Director of Equipment Management is a voting member of the Executive Committee who is responsible for procuring and maintaining WBMHA's equipment. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law

Director of Registration

The Registrar is a voting member of the Executive Committee responsible for registering and receiving payments for all players in the association. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law

Director of Sponsorship and Fundraising

The Director of the Sponsorship and Fundraising Committee is a voting member of the Executive Committee who is responsible for managing all fundraising activities of the association. Specific responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law

Director of Risk Management/ Trainers/ Inclusiveness

The Director of Risk Management is a voting position . This individual will Chair the the Risk Management Committee, Implement and enforce all WBMHA and OMHA risk management programs and policy's. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law

Director of Parent Representation

The Director of Parent Representation is a voting member of the Executive Committee responsible for the management and accounting of bond hours for all parents and teams in the association. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law.

Director of Coaches

The Director of Coaches is a voting member of the Executive Committee responsible for the management of all team officials throughout the association. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained inWBMHA's By Law

TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR - U9 AND BELOW

The Tournament Director position is a voting member of the Executive Committee responsible for procuring and managing tournaments/ Jamborees for U9 and Below. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA By Law. Motion being presented at the 2025-26 AGM to change this position to Tournament Director (excluding Silver Stick) Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's amendment to the By Law. Should this change not be approved, Nominations will be for the position as is

Director Of U9 and Below

The Director of U9 and Below is a voting position, following the U7 -U9 player pathways.

Director of Silver Stick Regional Tournaments

The Director of Silver Stick Regional Tournaments is a NON voting position to Chair the Silver Stick Committee, following the Silver Stick International policy's. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law

Director of Social Media

The Director of Social Media is a NON voting position to Create social media campaigns, strategies and update the news articles on the website. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law. Motion to be presented at the 2025-26 AGM to change this to VOTING POSITION

Director of Officating

The Director of Officiating is a NON voting position be responsible for scheduling the referees for all games including tournaments and work co-operatively with the Ice Scheduler. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law

Director at Large

The Director at Large is a NON voting position is to Assist other directors throughout the season in areas where needed. Specific duties and responsibilities are explained in WBMHA's By Law
