Elmvale in town....
The first of two key games of the weekend....First it is Elmvale Tyke #1.....
The stars played short handed with 4 key members of the team away and playing the red hot Elmvale Tyke #1 team. After giving up two quick goals in the opening minutes of the game, the Stars battled back to tie it up early in the second period. Emersyn Diver with 2 goals and a big assist on one of them from Mateo Saucedo-Willems. Once again Elmvale would take the lead and once again the Stars fought back to tie it again on the two more goals by Emersyn Diver. In the third period the Stars started to run out of gas and Elmvale were able to take advantage of the Stars short bench by putting a few more pucks past Jonathan Turner. With the never die attitude, Emersyn Diver was able to put another goal on the board for the team. Overall it was a great effort by all the kids. Maddox Day, Landon Lacombe and Ryder Milligan did there best on defence to slow down the Coyotes but by the end of the game the Coyotes got the best of the Stars. We will get them next time!!!
