Stars Continue Winning Streak
The Wasaga Stars bumped their winning streak up to four straight wins and 6 out of the last 7 games including tournament play.
Today's win over Stayner helped heal the wounds for many players and staff who have suffered from traditional losses against the Cyclones over the past few years. Although the score was 8-2, Stayner battled strong and played good clean hockey and continues to be an excellent opponent this year. The leadership of our veteran players as well as the drive and continuous improvement of the rookie crew is combining to make for exciting hockey and is adding up to a great season. The Arthur tournament and Silver Stick tournament are just around the corner. Not only will the team be great contenders in these tournaments, but the additional time on the ice is sure to further elevate the skills of the players and familiarity with each other, making for some more great hockey. Go Stars!
