PLAYOFF February 13 VS Osprey Hawks
The Wasaga Stars suffered
a frustrating 2-0 playoff loss at the hands of the Osprey Hawks,
despite having controlled a large majority of the game and keeping
Osprey pinned in their own end for minutes at a time. The oversized
Hawks defence crowded the slot and smothered a number of
opportunities, but Wasaga kept the puck moving and peppered the
Osprey goal. Jack LeBlond and Devon Jessup came close to lighting the
lamp, and Mia MacNicol proved dangerous with a number of thrilling
rushes. Gabe Ryan was rock-solid on the blueline and earned Player of
the Game honors.
